100% pal, can't believe yours is the only new post on here. Really grown into that No1 defender, leader of the back 4 role. Shades of John Terry-like, thou shall not pass etc this evening

His form for the national team has really improved too. That's a good indicator that he's improved individually, as opposed to benefiting from a system.
We knew that anyway though.

What commitment. No thought whatsoever of pulling out of that last ditch block, (when we were already 4-0 up,) even though it could’ve easily resulted in him picking up a very nasty injury.

But let’s be honest, same applies, to every player in that squad. Their commitment to the the cause, and bond with their team mates, both on and off the field, is something the like I’ve never seen in my 48th year of watching City
