Fantastic player and wish him all the best if he moves on. Would walk into a top team's defence like Juventus or Atletico, wouldn't be surprised if he stays in England though if his kids are settled.

Not seen him play to be honest, the academy is starting to develop some very good footballers. Start using them instead of chucking money at the likes of Mahrez.

If it was only so simple. This isnt the 1970, These kids need to go out and get the experience of whats classed as full contact in these modern times.

The youth leagues dont allow the older players. We should have a reserve league where the kids play against older and more physical opposition.

Very true, loans and managing the very good prospects in the early stages of the league cup and fa cup are the only options. I think Pep has played a blinder with Foden to get him to the point where he trusts him to start against top 6 teams.

His age lowers his value though, not many pay over £30m for 31 year old. £25m is about right.
