Same as Van de Beek wanted 60 million last summer then this summer Van de beek said he wanted to go and i think the rags signed him for 35 million so they do drop the price if a player wants to leave.

He's available for a clearly affordable fee. We'll make most of that back by selling Garcia. This isnsistence that it will only be done if we somehow manage to shift Zinchenko is bizarre. We have the squad space. Unless we're signing two. But then who else?

Still can’t see us signing left back, Mendy cost a fortune so I think he’ll be given one more season. I imagine Dias will be starting most league games alongside Laporte which will allow Ake to play at left back.
We have let Reguilon go to Spurs,Tierney to Arsenal, perhaps Telles to United... this is a fairly barren position globally if we can solidify it a bit at that price we should do it quickly. I don’t know that we should expect a superstar but just having another LB who is an actual LB would help tremendously. I’m so tired of us having spent all the money we have and having to deal with all the oil money stuff while regularly playing 1-2 players out of their natural position
At the fees quoted it just makes sense to sell Garcia + 7m and he is ours.

Re the Zinchenko squad space issue.
The club are either waffling or maybe have someone else already lined up for the spare space we already have.....just hope we're not just keeping an empty seat incase Messi has a change of heart on deadline day.

Hopefully Bye Garcia/Hello Tagliafico. Good business for Ajax right before the transfer window closes. They also ping ponged offers between Bayern and Barca to sell Dest.

That is an extremely reasonable price. Why on earth did Chelsea sign Chilwell if he was available for that?
Not so sure, I think the club have waited until the very last minute and are ready to commit for a long term Kun replacement, now is the perfect time with many clubs short of cash.If we got Felix or Martinez before the deadline along with Tagliafico then that would be some window completed.
