How painfully obvious that we are linked to a guy who has been linked to a multiple teams who are in need of LB. I still don't understand what are our scouts doing? How on earth they can't find a good LB now? And in 2 years time when Mendy will go we will be signing someone for €50m/€60m .

He's technically good tbh, definitely not paciest but he can run up and down all game with no issue, getting him in now would sort Mendy issue, and then we can look for a long term Mendy replacement once he's nearing end of his contract.

The point is how important pace is and if you have watched Tagliafico he isn't the quickest.

I can’t say I’ve seen the guy play but since when does age dictate how quick you are? Walker is 30 and easily the quickest player in our squad.

At this pont mate I'd take anyone over Mendy who has pace. My only issue is he will be £40m-£50m and will be a short term solution and he isn't the quickest himself.
