Have noted plenty of negative comments on here towards Nige and his supposed agent Kia the snake, holding the club to ransom over a new contract

His agent is Rodger Linse and if there is one player in our current squad, who knows his own mind, it is De Jong.

Joorabachian did a bit of prick-teasing in the summer of City by offering his services to Hart and De Jong, taking on Ned.

The snake was telling our players what they should be demanding, knowing it would stir up trouble in the camp as he tried to move on Tevez.

Nigel knows his worth, and that he isn't one of the 'better paid' in the squad. This is his last big deal and speaking to a few lads that know him, wanted it sorted in the summer.

Mancini has made it clear he wants him here and although he's frustrated when he doesn't play, everyone expects it to get done at the end of the season.

The speculation will continue because plenty of clubs are now sniffing, but to put him directly in bed with that **** Kia is incorrect.

Unfortunately Tolm, too many of our fans take "The Gospel According To the Worlds Media Whores" as the final words.

I must say I'm putting my hand up and saying that my comments on another post on Bluemoon concerning Nigel was wrong, and I should had waited for further info, my apologise's.........

Cheers tolmie, nice to know.

Seeing Nigel banging on the dash of his car and beeping his horn to "oh when de Jong" when leaving the stadium after the victory parade was enough for me to know where he wants to be. Was worried the snake would fuck things up though.

I can understand it, though. If something is referenced enough times, it becomes gospel.

I will say this, Nigel De Jong, bleeds blue, but it doesn't mean both he and City are not well within their rights to get the best deal they can for themselves.

I'm not sure if true or not, but the consensus is the club now refuse to conduct and conclude transfer renewals during the course of the season.

Which is why there is plenty of scaremongering going on. Mancini has less on his contract to run, but again, there will be a time and place for everything.

With regards Nige, common sense will prevail. City want to protect a £20m asset if nothing else, rather than losing him for a fraction of the price 12 months later.

He doesnt want to leave city why would he,fans love him, he loves city, few pics of him on bench looking glum & whispers start!
