It was the MLS who released it. They do more damage to the league than anything else does, just shows US football to be the stereotypes we all associate with them.Apparently LA Galaxy release a vid announcing him leaving which highlighted his ZERO goals, ZERO assists, 3 yellows, 1 red and proceeded to play a leg breaker that got him a ban.
Sounds like sour grapes!

That reminds me of the story of when Beckenbauer joined the old MLS in the late '70s.
When the owner saw him at the back, he exploded, "What the fuck is that Kraut doing in defence? I didn't pay $6 million (or whatever it was) for him to hang around at the back. Tell him to get up front and score some fucking goals!"

Nigel did alright at the Galaxy.
He only got one red card, his other ban was for a trial by video tackle on some twat from Portland.
He might have lost a step, but he still did the job he was there for, to win the ball in midfield.
The video produced by the MLS was embarrassing.
The refs definitely had it in for him. If you think refs in the premier are bad, check out MLS refs sometime.
The bottom line is, he was making $500,000 a year at the Galaxy and he'll be making $2.7m in Turkey.
