It won't - if nothing else Tory elements in the press will protect their side and dig up every last scandal in Farage's past. I think 5 years as an MP is possibly the worst thing that could have happened to him. The Tory base is ageing, they're in a demographic tailspin. Reform are trying to convince the British electorate that's not happening to them, pointing at the USA, Germany, France, anywhere the hard right has traction with disaffected youth.
