The crescent moon low in the sky is quite spectacular tonight
Sadly there are clouds above it hiding Mars and Neptune

If you can see the moon at the moment, look closely at about one o'clock above it and you will see Mars

Apparently Jupiter’s as close as it gets and if you’re somewhere cloud free it’s quite easy to pick it out along with two of its moons looking east.

I could see what looked like a really bright star south east of me first thing this morning, never seen it before ?

Probably Saturn Andy, it's fairly prominent the next while.

Don't think Mercury would reflect enough light though, Saturn would. Could be wrong though.

Edit' angles of reflection, Mercury is closer to Solaris.
