NIKE SIGNED FOR NEW KIT DEAL

I hate the way Umbro can't help but plaster their logo all over their teams' shirts.

It should be a Manchester City shirt with a small Umbro logo printed on the right chest, not a tacky Umbro-plastered shirt with a Manchester City badge stuck on as an after thought.

I agree that LCS's distrubution is appalling. I've been banging that particular drum for quite some time now.

Although I'd rather see Puma or Adidas, Umbro's global distribution is actually pretty good. They always have concessions in department stores and are widely available throughout Asia, Europe and the Middle East. I assume this has improved even more since Nike took them over.
 
If it is Umbro, to me that is a marketing disaster. We are supposed to be heading for the top??? What top teams play in Umbro FFS. We're not a Blackburn, Hull or West Brom. Chelsea paid Umbro off to get Adidas, that tells you everything.

If Garry Cooke is so obsessed with selling the "City" brand accross the world, we need a more glamorous kit manufacturer IMO.

This. IF we really get Umbro that will give the media even more to write about. Sorry but Umbro is just tacky as well. Like someone already said, the brand is for Chavs.
 
I hope it isnt umbro. my kids fucking hate umbro, to them its like wearing ethel austin clothes (which doesnt bother me) but they would rather die than wear cheap shit like that
