Let me see now...Nike bought ailing Umbro Oct 2007.

You can bet your stash on Nike wanting City..They have been trading punches with Adidas and loosing the last 3 years and desperately need more "brand" clubs.
Unfortunately for Nike they can´t have both City and the rags..Or can they?
By using Umbro they avoid a City vs rags clash and are going home twice.

Other than we have a history of having been fucked by Umbro in the past.

Umbro designed their first footy kit 1934...for City actually so we go a long way back.

60 years with umbro, then they sold their soul to the rag devil!

Yes the irony was that the year they sold us out, we where marketed as having the longest deal of its type in the world.
