Nirvana - Nevermind Special Edition

Incesiticide is the best nirvana album.

By a mile. Its got the whole range of Nirvana sounds. Aneurism is fantastic and the fast version of Polly too. Vaselines covers of Mollys lips and son of a gun are brilliant but there are so many cracking tunes on there. Goes from really obscure to the more poppy stuff.

Nevermind is fantastic. I bought Velociraptor on Friday, and although I've only given it a quick listen, I'm not sure about it yet. Anyone else got an opinion on the Kasabian album?

It's brilliant.
Switchblade Smiles and the Green Fairy song stand out me.
There's a few tracks on there that are "growers". I think the mass majority of the songs don't have the initial wow factor on disc but will sound epic live.

Fantastic album still have the picture disk vinyl I got for Christmas 20 years ago ( age 8 ), you should buy ten by pearl jam also 20 years old this year IMHO better than nevermind.

Nirvana's 'Nevermind' and the Smashing Pumpkins 'Gish' saved me from going insane whilst in Hope hospital for 6 weeks many moons ago. Good times.



(oh and 'its a shame about ray' by the Lemonheads).

That Lemonheads album has kept me sane on more than one occassion. Still sounds great today.

Nevermind is a top album but if i was gonna get a 'special' album it'd have to be the 'very best of the Smiths' that's just come out in a re-mastered edition.

A classic, "Nevermind" makes me feel old - like loads of albums of the time. I turned down a ticket to see them at The Academy, cos I couldn't be arsed. But I did see Jesus Jones. FFS.

Not a bad song on it, with Smells Like Teen Spirit being my least favourite despite its immense popularity.

Still not fully listened to In Utero, I always go back to Nevermind, due to my addiction to it. Need Bleach and the others though.
