Nivarna

I was right into Pearl Jam too at the time, and i think all the hype Nirvana got kinda put me off them a bit. In fact i didn't listen to their stuff for ages.

I was lucky enough to see Pearl Jam in the early nineties, but never got to see Nirvana.

Never Mind.

Now you're talking. Pearl Jam are a quality band. Do you love a bit of Soundgarden and AIC Dave?

I never liked Pearl Jam, I've always wanted to shove Eddie Vedders face onto a hob.

Don't much care for AIC, but Soundgarden's Superunknown was a decent album.

I loved Black Hole Sun, and still do.... and that made me go and buy the album. It reminds me of living in the south of France in '94.... happy days!

I couldn't believe how different that track is to the rest of it. They were so heavily influenced by Led Zep it's untrue.

There's a lot of influences in Cornell's head to be fair.

Really? I'm quite surprised.

Vedder's voice is stunning.... and even better live.

Maybe, but the Led Zep influence stands out the most i'd say.

I used to like you!

:p

But now you love me?

Pearl Jam are just very middle of the road, Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins were the best bands from that era/genre etc (though i'd never class SP as a grunge band to be fair)
