In total contrast to Weaver, I remember being in the Mersey Clipper around 96/97 when we played Tranmere away in a league game. We'd been in there for hours, totally bladdered and who should walk in? Andy Dibble! Top, top bloke he was too, got a round in for about 8 of us and sat with us chatting. Only downside was he was stuck in the 80's with a tight black tshirt, gelled hair and a really bad leather coat!

It's a shame, he would have gone on to become a Class England Goalkeeper, but for injuries and bad luck...

He'll always be a legend to me for Wembly appearance, where would we be now without him!

I watched the game and he couldnt do anything about the goals and didnt have many saves to make, it was the dundee utd defence that let them down because they defended worse than we did when hughes was in charge
