That he did. It was blatant too because of the backward motion of his right heel trying to catch a player in the face. It was a subtle flick, but maybe a petulant one so I doubt he deserved a ban for blinding a player.

Not suprising, the FA are spineless as are the refs pannel, will only react if plenty of media attention, which MOTD, BT and Sky didn't give it (a few papers 2 days after won't make as much of a stink).

I think Mr Scuda... suggested that a successful United would be good for the game. Surely underlings in the form of his employees, refs etc. cannot be expected to show fairness ?

Not acceptable and the panel is not fit for it's duty. It is very simple with no grey area, violent conduct is an offence and for no punishment to be meted out is a disgrace. Who do we complain to about this because the principle here imo is important.
