No Channels on My Freeview

try reseting your box to factory settings. i did an old lady(s) last night who lives near by. it worked.
 
Unplug the aerial leads from the freeview box and do an auto scan for channels, this should clear out all the channels from the previous auto tune before the latest switchover. Then turn it all off for a minute, plug the aerials lead back in and do another auto retune.

Dont know if its dodgy firmware on some types of boxes or what but we have had a switch over advice point at work and this has worked for some people, hope it helps.

I did as you said, and it worked.

It's completely unfathamable as to why it should work, but 3 days of nothing but the BBC is bound to make anyone desperate!

BlueBeenie you're a ledge mate. Must admit, there were a few hairy moments after wiping what channels I did have, but now I'm back up and running in time for Downfall on Film Four at 10. Cheers
