No disasters

I was going for all 3 until I tried putting my full weight on my leg, felt like someone had wired my kneecap to the mains
Ooww, that must have hurt like BillyO. Keep taking the tablets and keep on keeping on, as the old Army saying goes.
I hope that everything continues to improve and you get back to normal asap.
Enjoy Boxing Day but don’t do any actual boxing! :-)

Nothing to do with pugilism mate.

The name comes from a time when the rich used to box up gifts to give to the poor. Boxing Day was traditionally a day off for servants - a day when they received a special Christmas box from their masters. The servants would also go home on Boxing Day to give Christmas boxes to their families.

Sorry can’t help myself :-)
Have a brilliant day. And you too @andyhinch

*chuckles* thank you. I did know that and was just being daft. I had that explanation drummed into me every Christmas by my Grand-Father as an example of the ‘subjugation of the serfs by the aristos’ (his words). Is it any wonder I’m such a well balanced individual!!! ;-) :-)

He was a lovely man. He was actually my step-Granddad although I didn’t think of that until many, many years later when I started to research my family tree. Logically I knew my Dad’s dad had been killed in WW1 but naïvely didn’t think of the ‘implications’. :-) He was just my lovely Grand-Pop.

There should be a thread on family trees. Like Who do you think you are.
