You've just lost a very decent manager, who's plans were almost coming to fruition.
Time will tell if it's a good move by City, but I'm disappointed to see the guy not get the chance to see the season out.
Don't lose any sleep, pal. Hughes may end up as your manager soon.

Everton would be in a world of shit if that happened, Moyes normally has them overperform, I don't think even the biggest Hughes supporter would claim that in 18months he has done that with city more than a handful of times.

Infinitely more confident right here. I'd seen enough in MH's last 11 games to suggest he wasn't going to fix the problems.

No disrespect to Hughes....Because he done alright IMO. Alot of money & pressure @ the begining of the season for him & maybe with time he would have done better. I rated him higher than most on here I think.

Dont get me wrong though onwards & upwards & I think "The Don" is going to be great for the club but I dunno how much further he can take them really than Hughes hasnt. The Team still needs time to gel more. As long as we get to the cup final & not put out the cup.

Tbh...Ive never heard of any player quit a club because of the manager being sacked..any toys thrown out of prams will be placed back into said pram and everything will be hunkydory.
