No fight in this team

A team full of internationals which majority of them have played togethor for years, can't even string a few passes togethor. I've lost faith with this team, thank fuck we've got pep coming. Around the 60th minute, we had a few throw ins and each one we had no play within 15 meters of the ball. Slowly jogging towards the throw in taker, not giving a toss. If it wasn't for the crowd shouting at them, they'd still be jogging to the byline now. Soft cunts, I hope pep works the arses in the summer, they don't deserve their wages.

They seem utterly spineless the season. What has MP done to them?
It's his fault for feeling the need to announce he was leaving

Never expected it to have such a negative effect on the team but it's been nothing short of disastrous

Why the fuck wasn't it all done on the quiet and then announced at the end of the season. Absolute lunacy

Half the team now clearly do not give a fuck as they know the corpse and them won't be there come August

Someone on the radio this week said Pellegrini was under a lot of pressure. Is he fuck, he's under no pressure whatsoever... It doesn't matter to him if we don't get another point all season

We have lacked fire in our belly for too long.
We need a few hard bastard enforcers to mix it up in the middle.
Yaya as a leader is fucking hopeless. No idea why he gets the armband!!

Pelegrinni is a fucken disaster, we should have dominated with Mancini

The players have no excuses though, fucken shite also!

I hate to laugh on such a depressing day but I have this vision of a a cardboard cutout of Pep (as suggested by an earlier poster) in the technical area. Ideally holding a pair of hedge clippers for use in castrating anyone not giving full effort.

Couldn't be worse than what we have!

I don't think Pellers is an idiot. I just think he has always lacked much of a Plan B and doesn't seem to have what it takes to properly motivate these guys.

But that will change at this club! And soon!

Pellers has no balls whereas Pep will cut them off

These same players have shown fight before but they need to know what they're fighting for and trust in leadership from above. With our declared management structure, it seems rather inevitable that we're going to have a good first year, maybe a good second one, but then the manager is going to be a lame duck in the final year. It is to be hoped that we can learn from this experience, because we shouldn't have to endure a repeat of this in 2018-19.

There's absolutely no fight in this side. Two examples there, the first when Kun gets pushed over by blind, twice, our best player is sat on the floor and not one city player comes over to back him up. Second when rashford is shoved over by Demi (should have been a penalty) we then get bullied by two kids. There's no desire or fight. It's embarrassing. Is a derby. Our backs are against the wall and we cower.

I can take defeat but the players couldn't give a shit to win a fucking derby ffs. I fear for the rest of the season

That's how it was at Klanfield when Flannagan launched his attack on Sterling, afterwards admitting he did it to get the crowd going. Our team that night should have been straight round Flannagan and they should have been surrounding the ref too. Instead, they remained too passive seemingly with the hope of getting out of the place in one piece. You are right. No fight, no passion, no balls.

Bayern players know PEP is leaving - didn't stop PEP and the players doing what they needed to do against Juve. Sick of stupid excuses - The manager and the players are paid a lot of money to play football - not a lot to ask for all of them to be professional.

Have another look at that 'penalty'! 'Twas a typical Rag dive. He goes down AFTER he is past Demi. A good yard and a half AFTER the contact. One decision The Bottle got right - although Oliver is programmed not to award penalties in case they cause controversy!

I fully agree, but I'll be interested to see what happens in a few years time. At the fag end of Mancin's time, the players were less than professional, and the same is happening again, so something needs to be done to ensure we do not allow it to become the norm.

Poor signings. Txiki's naivity of the premier league is frightening. Hope to god pep isn't as naive as his barca buddies because if he is he is in for an almighty shock in England
