Appointing Brendan Rodgers would be insane, he has little or no managerial experience behind him.I would give him a few more seasons before judging him.He was hounded out of Reading after a disasterous spell.

Josep Guardiola had no managerial experience when Barca appointed him.
Brian Clough had little when he took Derby to titles and finals.

But I do know what you're saying.

What he does have is the right football philosophy for City. MO'N certainly doesn't.

As CItykev28 says, Brian Kidd and David Platt, but Mancini has to be here. Changing managers is a destructive scenario. (IMHO)
