No semi means no final ?

Personally I think this is the way it will go in the future as it is the only way to get ticket sales up.

I can see it being ST and Cup Scheme First
then ST and CC Attendance
The ST
Then membership with CC Attendance

If City announced this in the next week I bet they would add 5000 to the gate.

Whether it is right is another matter....
totally agree

****BLUE IN EXCILE****

Makes no difference. The Supporters Club gets nearly all of them and leave the real fans ticketless.
Oh, that's the open wound prodded again!

I think the topic is pointless actually as I can't see us beating Liverpool over the two legs. I believe Mancini will have bigger games to worry about, and I think Dalgleish will see this as a trophy he can pick up at little cost to them - no European distractions. A trophy in the cabinet is what Dalgleish needs right now, and I can see him getting his team right up for this. Although I think our players could be up for it, 3 points in league games is far more important for us right now, and therefore the Wigan, Spurs and Everton games will take priority (as well as the Rags on Sunday).

Mancini is a cup horder....He will want to win this. The more he wins for us the more Kudos he gets around the world and the bigger the contract. I dont want Liverpool winning anything anytime soon and lets face it the winner of this will be a big favourite to win the cup. I cant see the point getting through the earlier rounds if this would be the case.

Wembley trips create memories for the fans that will never go away. I wouldnt mind a bit more of that.

Actually I disagree. I think Dalglish and Liverpool want top 4 more than any trophy. That's why they haven't appealed the Suarez penalty. Accepting it now allows them to miss him for up to 4 cup games (assuming they beat or draw with Oldham) to ensure he is available for the maximum number of league games. If they were more bothered about the Carling Cup they could have waited and had him play in the first game against us.

Not so sure about that I'm a member of London Club for 8 years and didn't get ticket through them for either semi final or final last year - got one for semi final through someone else and didn't get one for the final

as for real fans been going since early 80s though not always had season ticket due to work and family commitments so stuck between the 2

member of SC and didn't get ticket but ticketless so a real fan

I ask because this is a much more different senario than the FA Cup altogether, for a start this semi, all be it the first leg isnt at Wembley it's at home, and we will if we get through get a far bigger allocation of tickets for this final. The question is will it be enough for everyone who wants one to get one, i dont think so myself, but it will mean other fans that could'nt get FA Cup final or even semi final may get a sniff, but it may only be a sniff for some and still out of reach for others. Call me old fashioned but the voucher sheets/tokens in the programme always seemed to be pretty fair in the old days. I am in the cup scheme, but i am thinking more of other fans further down the qualification scale for match tickets to big games thats all.

-- Wed Jan 04, 2012 6:11 pm --

Soon it'll be everyone who went york away will get first choice...

we would never get a 50,000 allocation for a major final though!
