No Stream for WBA v City Cup Games Wednesday 22/09/10

or buy a ticket and go and watch the lads???/

Maybe some people dont live in England? Maybe some of us need these streams in order to follow the team we love? Maybe some people dont have enough money?

I know you probably dont mean anything antagonistic about your remark but it really annoys me when people say this. I can understand it if someone lives within reasonable distance of the club but not for us.

Mail reckons Bebe may play for Utd tonight at scunthorpe so at least there is the comedy highlights to watch later

You've got to admit It read like spam. Even you thought so. That's why you went to the trouble to say "I'm NOT connected with them" before you posted. You were anticipating my response. I was just obliging.

O,k but why "oblige" when the whole point of me stating that i'm nothing to do with them was make it clear it wasn't spam.
I don't mind you "thinking" it, but why go to the extent of posting your thoughts?
I'm sure admin would remove my post if it was spam.
The truth is Livefooty is very good, as simple as that.

Maybe you just trying to be clever? either way it puts people off trying to help.

Do you think it better when people come on here match day saying their links are shit or being shut down and are panicking, to just keep quiet and enjoy the match?

I suppose i could just keep quiet about good City stuff in the future, but that is not fair on those who do appreciate good info...
Wow! I didn't mean to destroy your faith in people. Sorry.

Maybe you need to grow a thicker skin though.

The truth is that most those pay view sites operate in the hope that there will be a number of people who don't know where to find free access. And I only say most and not all because some people will pay just for the more reliable stream. And it's only more reliable because there are less people hogging the bandwidth. They are just as susceptible to having their stream cut as the free ones are.

Is this a reliable feed?
www.watchfreelivestream.com/2010/09/wat ... om-vs.html

We should have been Rags FFS.

Two Premier teams ready to slog it out against each other in a cup game and it's nowhere to be seen, those Rag tossers play a crap Championship club and it's on $KY HD.

don't think so - just criminals

please keep the posts coming since I'm not even in the UK at the moment - but if I was I'd be at West Brom tonight.

as it is, I'll likely stop whatever I'm doing just after midday to try finding a stream to watch it, or if that fails, an audio feed that plays in the USA.

with all the money tied up in coverage and rights you'd think someone somewhere would get the organisation together to sell (exploit) internet packages to fans who I'm certain would pay for decent feeds and proper live coverage - instead they're all missing out on revenues and fighting a losing battle to stop the pirate feeds.

(which sounds about par for the course and in sympathy with everything else where UK football is concerned; piss-poor organisation and an economic farce. The FA teetering on the verge of disappearing up their own arseholes and many clubs managed by financial incompetents)

GMR can't broadcast the match online or digitally.....you will have to dig out your old wireless to tune into analog radio

-- Wed Sep 22, 2010 5:44 pm --

and some of us are stuck in the middle of nowhere (like a North American cornfield, or in the centre of the breadbasket) and often without a television...

I've always wondered why from all the resources and collective expertise we have here, between all of us we can't muster, source and host our own feed?

Shady, you're the 'go to man' for all knowledge of this ilk, do you know what's involved with these feeds from a hardware level and where are the original signals are found? Is it complicated?

just wondering & blabbering out loud...

(and yesterday quite by accident I saw a Groclin scarf - for purchase no less, but no WBA v City feed today; which would you have thought more likely?)

we dont want to get into that mate...as it leaves the site open to being shut down by the powers that be....we recently had the prem league sniffing around telling us to stop posting links.....but has we kindly pointed out to them a) we are not breaking any laws posting links that are freely available on the internet & b) If MYP2P can win a court case against the prem league for the same thing (i.e just posting links), then we are in the clear and there is nothing the prem league can do about it

I like this idea. As prominent a forum as this is, with the minds we have, could we not put together our own stream. I'm sure most would pay a bit for a reliable, Bluemoon exclusive stream, with a password that would limit stretched bandwidth.

I live in the states now and get back for 1-4 games a season... the rest I'm relying on FSC, FSCP, ESPN, and Shady's streams (cheers Shady).

How feasible is it?

0% chance of it happening I'm afraid...it's illegal and we'd run the risk of getting shut down.
