"No trouble" according to the MEN

Didn't see any trouble at all. Few gobby reds (how they can call us bitter?) but the blues were just laughing at them.

The services were a bit different. The thing was the blues were heavily outnumbering the filthy gobshites at the services we stopped at (Cannock and NP I think - its a bit hazy) which is why no fists were thrown

Me too, didn't see anything to right home about, few scuffles that's all. Funny going down, didn't see and rags till Oxford services.

I did see a few rags fans kicking off near the petrol station on the main road towards Wembley Park, and apparently some minibuses were attacked and bricked in one of the main car parks.

Thing was the police weren't there to see it, so they wouldn't have reported it as an incident.

Glad many City fans didn't react to the Rags chants of "Where's your famous M*****h" song?" taunting us to provocate them and kick off.

The guy sat next to me said his Thomas Cook coach got bricked by rag scum on the way in and I was at Watford Gap services when a coach load arrived, no colours on any of them, they got out, went inside, started hitting Blues then running. When the cops who were there realised what was going on they had got back on their coach and f8cked off like the cowards they are. Realmen fight with other real men who want to fight back. Cowards attack innocents.

There was plenty of this song outside the Greyhound!

Once again MEN and police spout rubbish. Tell the poor city steward who was waiting by the coaches for city fans to come out so he could get people on the coach only to be spat on and slapped by the poor excuse for human beings.

Taken from the MEN.

I am absolutely staggered by this. I went yesterday. I saw two people indescriminately assaulted by Utd thugs on the way into the ground. On the way out, Wembley Way was complelety blocked for several minutes as mounted police tried to control a mob of several hundred Utd yobs. Several broke through the horses, and in the absence of any officers on foot, were able to start a number of fights. I saw one guy dazed and covered in blood and several small groups having full set to's. I used to go regularly in the 70's, when the derby's were pretty hairy, and I'd say that was close to that level. What is it about Utd? Have I missed Parliament passing some law dictating Man Utd shall never receive bad publicity.

Seems most of the attacks happened down Wembey Way, as small groups of City fans walked into the waiting MIBS/Cockney reds after the match.

Walked to the coach park and there was a small group of United stood on the corner, behind some police.(near the bar with the United flag) Not a word. Coach park was quiet apart from loads of City fans giving United some deserved stick.(leaving on their coaches) Nothing at the services either, which were full of City.

"No trouble" according to the MEN

The supporters coach I was on was attacked by a bunch of scum bags at Norton Cains Services.

A load of looneys without colours turned up and just started attacking blues at random.

One bus has it's back window smashed in and a couple of lads were set on and were covered in blood.

No police anywhere until about 30-minutes later as we were leaving.

Fortunately we were unscathed.

i went down the ramp towards wembly park tube, ended up in amongst a fuckload of scum, and had to my program on my head.
coins came down like rain from blues.
pity i couldnt stop and scoop the fuckers up.
