A momentary slip from the norm!
He's an ok geezer is Winstone, can't understand all this animosity towards him......probably because i looked like a young Winstone when i was a youth

Can't make any excuses for his hilarious cockney portrail of Henry V111 though
Henry V111 was born in london, how do know that he did'nt have a cockney accent.
Good point but i don't think there were regional accents in Tudor times but i could be wrong, the Tudors were Welsh as well so it would have been a mish mash of accents anyway

Probably more like different languages tbh. Most people in France didn't speak French until relatively recently (even in the late 1800s). I imagine the UK had just as many different languages/dialects.

I know it's before the Tudors but wasn't Richard III supposed to have a brummie accent?
Anyway, I'd guess that whoever they were in close proximity to whilst growing up (eg nursemaids, courtiers and suchlike) would have a strong bearing on their eventual accent

What's it about?

I assume it is whats in the "Agnostic Bibles" that basically Noah goes from hero to zero, and like Darth Vader follows the darkside, due to the death of his son.

Darth Vader or whoever on the darkside resurrects his son whose obviously dead, and the goodside, Luke didn't give a shit, and wouldn't help poor Noah.

Someat like that me thinks........, a modern day parable!!!

Probably not, but Noah ends up a bad lad!!

Why would a film based on a fairy story attract a deluge of complaints?,I know there's always someone offended about everything these days;but to flood the internet with a tsunami of faux outrage over an ancient fable is just strange.

There is actually quite a lot of evidence to a major flood in that area, whilst the story may not be true, it was a way of passing a folk memory in a way people at the time could understand
