It's a joke this. Some idiots have started a 'helpnobbystiles' website and are tweeting it getting gullible reds to donate cash. Even blue Jason Manford has retweetd this sentimental claptrap.
It's not like he's skint, he just has 3 sons so how is he supposed to split a WC winners medal and EC winners medal between them. Much better he makes 200k and splits it with them before he dies so he sees them spending it.
The new football museum based at Urbis have already said they are considering a bid, so the medals will stay in Manc, and be on public display, probably with a fitting and well deserved tribute to Nobby.
But there's a lot more worthy causes out there that could do with some of the effort going into this website.
It's just overblown MUFC sentimentality again. I know it's their history and heritage, and it's all they have left now, as all their hope is gone, but FFS, get a grip and get some perspective.
