Just watched it for the first time and enjoyed it, but most concerned that occasionally something in Pep's look reminded me of camel gob, (possibly his eyes?), which is, needless to say, most definitely the wrong road to be careering down

What a bizarre post.

I'm a manc through and through, even like oasis, but Noel's muttering scar times, trying to be amusing fell a little flat on pep who I suspect English is his 3rd language and he will not understand the manc wit.

I would have loved to see khaldoon do it

Khaldoon did the job interview.

I enjoyed the interview, but it seems that Pep is here for 3 seasons only.

Anyway, lets enjoy it while he is here :)

‘Guardiola is like a Jedi. He's a winner, you can see it in his eyes’ – Noel Gallagher on his interview with new Manchester City boss

The Liverpool Echo were running a story and getting very giddy about Pep knowing the Scouse dirge more than Bluemoon. Not sure if its been removed since, but it seems their levels of insecurity are dropping faster than their average league position.

They can have all the songs they want while we take the trophies.

When exactly did he say that ?

On Sunday he enthused about the academy, and 3, 4 or 5 years.
traditionally he doesnt stop long, he is on a m ission of learning new things in new environments etc.. and so probably wont stop beyond 3 yyears. Personally I like to think he will get a buzz off taking us into the very top tier of football and it might become his team and his club, but I do dream.

Noel isn't an interviewer, so not sure what people were expecting of him.

He's a fan and was clearly excited, he's also a big personality whereas Pep comes across as quite modest. It was more of a chat/meet and greet that happened to be being filmed rather than an interview but it served its purpose as a nice little intro for us fans.

The more indepth stuff will come later with seasoned journalists and once he's spent time with the squad. Good to have no leading questions where comments could be misconstrued and where Mourinho and Ibra would be brought up constantly.
Unsurprisingly comments were still misconstrued... I had a Liverpool fan at work telling me that Pep said he's "always dreamed of playing for Man City" when actually what he said was that he always wanted to play in the Prem, so he's delighted to be managing in it now.
