Thought it was very good,Noel was spot on,and liked the bit when Noel asked pep about music pep threw in James blunt as he was told Noel can't stand him, also good to know that a number of youth players will be with the first team pre season so pep can run the rule over them ..

El Señor, has many meanings in Spanish. Noels literal translation is one of respect but Pep wouldn't be keen on it. Depending upon the circumstance it can mean Lord(as in above), Sir, Mr and can even be used to usher a waiter politely.

Pep will be Pep for me.

I liked the James Blunt line, looks like Pep has a good sense of humour and I'm sure his interviews will be good value. He just seems like a really cool guy!

As a light hearted introduction to our new manager, it was good. The club just wanted an ice-breaker and it served it's purpose. It showed Pep as a warm and funny man but serious about his job. I did not buy into Pep saying that he had no pre-conceptions though. I am sure that he has done plenty of planning and analysis already. He did not leave Bayern thinking "Yeah, I'll rock up at City coz it seems like a good gig"

I thought it was a pretty bad interview, if I'm honest.

Noel was too loud, far too focused on being the center of attention and cut Pep off on far too many occasions. Pep laughed his way through a few questions and gave the odd good answer but that was a waste of an interview.

There was serious potential for an insightful and gripping interview here, given what's at stake for the club from this point on, but they threw it away in order to get Noel on screen again, like he's the only person the fans care about.

They did it for the kit launch in 2012, they did it for the new badge reveal and they're doing it again now. Why? I'm all for the club blocking the media out on this occasion and making sure it's our own event but get one of the qualified journalists to interview him.

El Senor is The Mr. right? i.e. Not The Man.

It would be El Hombre.

In catalan, it would be l'home.

Agreed. Would've much preferred our own Rob Pollard.
