Love the way he doesn't come on the big I am. He's very comfortable in himself doesn't have to stand on his hind legs saying how great he is....unlike some who call themselves 'special'.

The more intelligent of our players will know that they will have to work their bollocks off from day one. The ones who have been told all their lives that they are the best thing since sliced bread will be put under the microscope like never before and some may learn some hard truths. There will be no passengers with Pep.

And we the fans will have show we have the mettle to go with his high standards, for the full 90 minutes, and not worry about getting away from the ground before the rush. He's here for us, and we have to be there for him.

I honestly wouldn't trust anybody who says they follow City and didn't enjoy that.
After the last three years of feeling a total disconnect with the management side of the club the last couple of days have been a breath of fresh air.

The one thing that stood out for me with the clip is how Intense Pep is in his outlook at times and so its going to be an incredible 3yrs for us.............

I can see why he has had success with young players because they will totally buy into his methods. Convincing senior pros is a different ballgame and it's obvious Pellegrini didn't require this of them, giving them freedom to more or less do what they wanted within a loose tactical structure.

This is going to be on a totally different level and if they aren't 100% committed they'll be out. I love the idea that at the drop of a hat he would ditch the seasoned pro for a younger player who might be less talented but totally believes in what the team is trying to do.

We know we have great players, it's our mentality that's held us back. This is going to change.

Well said, we will have an exciting 3 years coming up

Sorry my post may have come across as arsey ....I can assure you it wasn't meant like that .

No problem, I have no issues with Pep's interview, just disappointment with Noel, thought he would be far better.

Pep over the last 24 hours has convinced me even more that we are the most fortunate club in world football to have this man in charge.

After the Manchester welcome to Zlatan poster, in further proof that the rags have their own creative and innovative genius behind their publicity campaign, Red cafe will shortly be uploading a video featuring Mourinho being interviewed by Mick Hucknall.

Was going to say something similar.I like the way he emphasises and repeats that it's all about the players, and not him.

Lets hops so, it would be comedy gold, the former special one been interviewed by the washed up fat ginger cu*t

You should be glad he wasn't sat there with a pad moving from question to question.

It was a very organic set, even if Noel used some things that were clearly on his mind as a fan, and so no need to grill the man about stuff.

He did better than your average fawning Sly Sports interviewer Stelling ever would, but not as good as Big Wedders would have!

Exciting times ahead. I like how he is honest in saying that he doesn't know how it will work and when it works it just works, and when it doesn't we need to make it work. No 3-months timeline, no philosophy. He's coming here to listen to the players and learn. It is reciprocal.

He reminds me also of the millennium indie. The Steve Jobs hipster embodiment whose approach is rhetorical. Zen lark like you need to love what you do.

And Noel did a much better job than I think any journalist would. Had a natural and by-the-fans approach to it. Asked the right questions. Though at one but I rather him let Pep finish about what More he had to say about the women's team.
