Noel Gallagher on Soccer Saturday

Don't remember Tevez high-five'ing the opposition manager after they'd beat us and deprived us of a Champions league place. Or saying "That's what you call a manager" in the direction of Moyes after we'd got beat.

Tevez is the club captain and heartbeat of our team. In my eyes he's entitled to discuss team matters at HT with the manager, if it improves things on the pitch.

Sigh.... I was answering the point that only the manager has a right to an opinion.
Watch the Bluemoon rising footage of Bellers in the dressing room prior to the spurs game and then question his desire to win.

Tevez's opinions were football related.

CB negativity to RM seemed to stem from the fact that his buddy Hughes got fired. Admirable loyalty, but he's paid by MCFC, not Mark Hughes.

Craig Bellamy, decent player but a loose cannon. If he kept his trap shut, he'd still be here. But as has been shown on several occassions, he seems incapable of winding his neck in.

Well... the majority of the regulars at COMS would prob agree with him especially on the latter.
Its only on here where a few comments about him being "disruptive" and had to go are made from those that rely on the media for their opinions..

I like the way you chose to only respond to the guy that obviously isn't a regular at COMS and not to all the other people that dissagree with the comment. I won't waste my time explaining how I was a season ticket holder at Maine rd. or how much it costs me to see a game at COMS (I wonder if you would make the same journey if you lived in Canada). And if you must stick your oar in, I was refering to A.J playing on the left.

What are you on about..? how on earth would I know if you go or not..?!! dont be so paranoid.

Why on earth would you leave the delights of the pole for Canada..? except of course if it was for Sunnyvale trailer park..

Fair enough mate, I guess it's a bit of a touchy subject. How else was I to fulfill my lifelong ambition of burning one with Bubbles? I brought the flag from the pole with me so I'm never to far from my roots.

TPB is the funniest thing ever on tv, shame its over. They're making a diff show now aren't they, summat bout drink and drugs happy hour?

Dunno when you left F/w but its changed a bit near the pole area, we've got a 24hr Tesco now and a few pubs have shut down, the Bridge being the latest.
Plus the railway line and f/w station has been shut for refurbs for the metrolink.

Been gone a long time now. I used to know the woman that ran the Railway (at least I think she ran it) Margaret is her name. I heard that the Black horse has been knocked down (I also know the old landlord/landlady from there as well, Gladys and Tom). Everything has changed since Ilived there. I wonder if we know any of the same people? I lived on Lord lane.

I'm on the other side, near Housing units. Yeah the Black horse went, Brown cow is now apartments, Liberal club is boarded up and a couple near Broadway have shut, Guido and weavers arms.
Think they're building a KFC near Tesco as well.

Sad times indeed. The Roxy gone as well. We had our sending off do at the Liberal club in 1978. Bought my first bike at Robottoms (spelling) and remember when they filled the cut in. My Dads buiseness partner lived on Evening st. and my sister went to Stansfield rd. school.
