Am I the only who thinks he's a dick?
Too right, world wide recognised musician yet down to earth city fanA top man who makes a lot of games, global superstar but still down to earth, and a huge city fan, whats not to like
He's not a caricature though. It's who he is. When the cameras are not around he's the same. He talks the same, acts the same. Has a laugh. You certainly wouldn't think he was a multi millionaire rock star when you're in his company - until the various phones are shoved in his face looking for a selfie every 5 minutes. No, I do too. Well not so much a dick (he's clearly very intelligent to write some of the music he's written) but he is our very own Cilla Black. Literally could not get out of Manchester fast enough once the success hit.
A caricature of a mancunian.
That said his interview with carragher was pretty good.

He's big all across Europe, and South America, plays all over the world... ok Oasis never cracked America but there's still a cult following there.. I'd say that's pretty global.Hes not a global superstar. Far from it. Successful UK musician and a huge blue.
How could anyone possibly blame him for that? If you've got the kind of money he came into, London is a miles better place to live than Manchester. He certainly didn't need to stick around just to make the rest of us feel better about ourselves.Literally could not get out of Manchester fast enough once the success hit.

The reason he's invited on the pitch and held in such high regard at the club is down to the fact a lot of the players idolise him. The reason radio and tv want to interview him is because he's box office. No your not,I mean OK there is nothing wrong with a club having "celebrity fans",but I think it goes a bit too far with him,TV interviews/Radio,being on the pitch after we won the league, captains armband etc etc,in the dressing room after match,I mean this is the same guy who when asked in their proper hey day about chucking some money our way, said no,but is now held in some high esteem of a can go anywhere scenario,I don't get it me.

http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1456783200# about 18 minutes inI know theres a Talksport thread but he's just done a class interview on Talksport with Goldstein & Cundy.
Talked about him meeting Silva for the first time yesterday, Silva came up to him said he appreciates that Noel always speaks well of him in the media and gave him his match shirt! Talked about how much of a legend Yaya has been for us.
He also said he tried to have a cheeky word about next season with Vinny and Vinny was having none of it. Apparently he's so focused on trying to get his hands on the league title that he won't talk about anything else. It appears that we may be in for an exciting finish to this season if Vinny is that fired up!
I'm sure the interview will be on Talksport's website at some point. Worth a listen.
So on top of him being a dick for having the temerity to leave Manchester, he's now also a dick for not investing his hard-earned cash into an utter shambles of a football club. I wouldn't have done so either if I was in his shoes.
He could have been our Elton John, that worked out well didn't it :-)So on top of him being a dick for having the temerity to leave Manchester, he's now also a dick for not investing his hard-earned cash into an utter shambles of a football club. Out of interest - how much money on top of what you already spend on City do you donate to the club out of your own generosity?

The reason he's slagged by some blues is because he's successful...
Because they're not invited by the club. There's plenty of "successful" and "celebrity fans" who follow our club mind, but are not in dressing rooms after the games, acting like their a player
