One of a very few that addapted to the demands of the PL so soon. Nolito has been class so far and he easily overtook my expectations.
Ofcourse the movement with his head was silly and Aguero was right to point that out to him. Nolito isn't known for having a temper, so in a way it's a bit strange it happens to him. Yet no use denying it and he doesn't help the team getting himself being sent off. He does help the team by staying on the pitch and play his game which is, again, very impressive for someone debuting in the PL.

Off topic: I really like the player and he has something comical about him. Either it's the way he runs or walks, his expression to other players and the ref, some cheeky stuff, I don't know. Probably just me...

What he did on Saturday was barely a booking, worse goes on at corners every week. It was nowhere near to being violent conduct, it was just a nod to let him know he was there and won't be bullied.

i think it's his rounded posture. he looks like a bulldog. Just a head and tiny legs!! I don't rate him as highly as some on here yet. I think he is very ineffective outside the box in build up play. Has to slow it down and cut inside when he is out left.

Also, he was West Brom's best defender, stopped a certain Gundogan goal and blocked another goal bound effort from Aguero.

I think you need to watch him more closely if you think he's ineffective in our build up play. His vision and ability to play a first time ball is immense, although he does require movement around him for that to happen - like any other attacking midfielder/winger.

Exhibit A - please watch the first half of the Manchester Derby again (league game).

Nolito could become a bit of a cult hero imo and will chip in with plenty important goals & assists.

He's workrate is close to Navas, and he likes to take on players to create room for others. The 'blocks'' can happen; might even point at the one shooting on goal for hitting Nolito instead of the target.

His posture is like a drifter wearing a long raincoat with a bottle of gin in his lefthand entering some abanded Spanish village. Don Quichote?

No questioning his work rate. I think it is just a manifestation of my dislike for inverted wide men, i hate seeing a guy with a chance to take on a full back on the outside, where they all hate going, stop the ball and roll it back to the left full. There are times when obviously it is necessary to recycle possession. He does offer something, but I think through sheer force of will rather than a footballing intelligence that some on here are alluding to.

he is definitely worth having around..

I think you just described 'Desperado'

Without a horse ... (or as Mouninho would say: Without a pony) .

Think he's got some fight about him , which isn't a bad thing for our team right now.
If he can give us a good couple of years till Sane or another youngster hopefully come good then that'll do me.
One of the best things that's come from him being here is that Sterling has been released to play on the right.

He needs to change his behaviour. In his early days his diving annoyed me and the way he went down with the slightest of touches. His discipline is now an issue. Should have been red carded on Saturday for the exact same incident that he got a red for against Bournemouth. Talk about brain dead.

He's a good player though.
