Chelsea after Poland stars Lewandowski and Piszczek now too according to The National. Not sure how many players their squad will be able to accommodate but they may have a squad to match ours soon, possibly even more depth if this buying doesn't stop.

And Zeki Fryers quitting the rags for Spurs when his contract runs out at the end of the month, they aren't a very loyal bunch these days at the swamp are they?
Makes sense re Piszczek, they need a right-back.

They'd be better off going for that french lad debuchy. He's looked quality so far.

Inter are in for Debuchy, they want Kolarov and Debuchy as part of a cheap-as-possible squad overhaul to make them challenge again hence their derisory £6.5million offer for Kolarov that they've upped to £8million now.

Tell Inter they need to double it and then maybe we will talk :-)

So how many homegrown players have Chelsea got, off the top of my head

Terry - Academy
Bertrand - Academy
Cole - HG
Sturridge - HG
Turnbull - HG
Lampard - HG
Cahill - HG
Mikel - not sure if he counts?

They struggle to meet PL squad regs (8 x HG) without registering kids (of course City are similar). Of these Terry, Cole & Lampard are getting on in football terms. Be interesting to see who and how they replace the 3 old timers with - also the cost to get in similar quality.

sounds good, a juicy £16million for kolarov, however i wouldnt sell him he's half decent cover for left back and seems happy enough playing as much as he is now

Ryan Nelsen links up with Clueless again at QPR. This triple swoop for RSC/Kolo/Bridge is looking unlikely, damn you Goal.com for getting our hopes up.

As the first commenter, yes I can and my comment was primarily about Debuchy, Kolarov was mentioned to give perspective about Inter's transfer plans so no need to be the passive aggressive forum cop.

I can't see them going for RSC either with the imminent arrival of Andy Johnson

Both Berbatov and Robinho could be playing for Malaga next season. Funny that. September 1st 2008 now seems so long ago.
