Chelsea have bid rejected for Victor Moses.

Sturridge must be on his way then ? Moses and Hulk, with Torres, dont see where Sturridge fit's
RDM is not a big fan of Sturridge!

I have a feeling Iam missing something with Moses ? Is he that good to get into the Chelski side or are they looking at one for the future.

He'd definitely be a bench warmer/second choice player for Chelsea but they are trying to build a young squad that can challenge on all fronts, as we are also trying to do.

West Ham are on the brink of signing Luc Castaignos, Gold expects at least two players to sign by the weekend.

Following on from that..

Diame has signed a new 3 year contract it will be announced soon!!!! We hope to sign more players next week

Moose from Talkshite has tweeted Grant Holt will sign for Wes Ham next week.

Desperation methinks to get some home-grown players in their squad - with an outside chance he may come good/develop.

We only just scrape into the PL home-grown rules so I'm surprised we aren't linked with more home-grown players - although I did a post on this a while back and came to the conclusion that there are very few home-grown players that would improve our squad or be anything but bench warmers.

A bit off-topic before that forum cop comes back and lectures me again but... Alex Nimely, Greg Cunningham, and Ryan McGivern can all now be listed as homegrown if we need numbers since they're all 21 or over. It depends on whether they stay though, or even if they do stay whether they are loaned out. Guidetti, Razak, and Wabara will also qualify for homegrown in the near future when they turn 21. M. Johnson will also probably be listed this season as I can't see us finding a buyer for him in the last year of his contract.

Agreed on those, but numbers aren't really relevant if we are never going to play them. We can use them to meet squad limit rules but having them in the squad doesn't do anything for us as a team - at the moment anyway.

Would be a good signing for them. I would think a priority would be a centre forward.

Grant Holt

He too would be a good signing. Assuming Diame has signed, then West Ham are building a team in the BFS style.
