Personally I think this means VDV is leaving. But I do think Spurs will finish 4th next year.

1. City
2. United
3. Arsenal
4. Spurs
5. Chelsea
6. Liverpool

for me...

I know it's your opinion and you are completely entitled to it, but are you seriously saying that you think Chelsea will finish 5th next season????????????

Do I have reason not to? They lose Drogba and sign Hazard and suddenly their going for the title?

I am not rising to the bait again on here (til later today surely).

There are threads on Flamini, Bale, Ibrahimovic, and god knows how many other footballers, and I am not trolling through the boards looking for 'the Tottenham thread'.

Glen you can put a word in with your pals upstairs to have this merged or deleted. I am sure it would not take very long.

I have no 'pals' upstairs kidda. If you are referring to your recent holidays, you tried to be clever with a decent fella and he banned you for a bit.
Get over it, ffs you mentioned me as soon as you got back near enough! Quit the name calling and anger at a stranger from the internet, and who knows, we might eventually bum.....

It's good to be back Glen.

So no genuine response? Just a spelling correction? Wow, you really have asserted yourself as the alpha-male of the transfer forum.

Don't think they're done in the market yet, still being linked to some very big names and are trying to bolster the squad in nearly every position. Jovetic is the latest linked, he would be a fantastic signing and would suit English football. They will be a threat but there is the possibility of the gelling process slowing them down next season.

Believe it or not, it i am glad you are back blue.

You must have forgotten that I am a Rag :)

No seriously it's been a long month, and I have missed some quality stuff...ESPECIALLY the Euro birds thread!! What happened to Didactic then anyway (I think there's a thread on him but I cannot really be arsed) ?

Edwards/z...
They're backline will be better this year and they have strength in depth at the back with Cahill/Terry/Luiz/Ivanovic/Bosingwa/Cole/Betrand(who I rate highly). They also signed Marko Marin who I also highly rate, and I still think they will capture the signing of Hulk.

Essien should be back to fully fit and ready to go, so they don't have to rely on an aging Lampard, and Meireles has had a decent tournament with Portugal and will surely look to cement himself in their midfield at the expense of either Lampard or Mikel (wank).

The loss of Drogba will not affect them one bit in my opinion. They said we couldn't do it without Tevez and we basically did, so I see no reason why Torres, Marin, Mata, Hazard, Sturridge, and maybe Hulk cannot even push us for a title race. Do I think they are title winning quality next season; they will be the year after but next year they will certainly NOT finish outside the top four. You can quote me on that one.

Mata...Sturridge...Malouda...Marin...Hazard...Torres...Meireles...Hulk?

I could go on.

I don't think they have the inability to challenge for the title, but I don't think they will.

-- Fri Jun 29, 2012 5:03 pm --
