Gone to Huddersfield for the same fee. If they can keep hold of Rhodes, they might be a decent e/w bet to do a Southampton next season, especially if they can keep hold of Andy Rhodes.

Macheda was one of Warnock's signings (he was actually his last, he was sacked a week later) and he hardly played under Hughes anyway; he made 3 league appearances before being sent back to Rags at the end of March when he got Injured. Agree with the bit about Park though the scum bought him £4 mil so they will be making a tidy profit at the price you have listed, although it seems absurd maybe he is trying to bring in a reliable pro who he know's will just get on with it; he has got Shaun Derry but he has also go wankers like Taarabt and Barton.

What is the point of Rangers going in for him seen as they have a good chance of being in the third division next season? Should n't they just buy somebody younger from the lower leagues (Scotland and England) and then look to develop them as they climb the divisions, rather than just sign a past it veteran who may lack the motivation to "just get on with it" when playing in the fourth tier of Scottish football.
