I love that the Scouse get rid of him when he finally starts to come good.

He will score at least 15 under Fat Sam's hoof system.

contract extensions means definitely nothing. at the worst this will be bale's last year at tottenham

so ekotto + bale + cissokho ??

No unfortunately. They will push Bale in an advanced role and they are looking for LB cover.

Looks like avb plans tp play bale as a full on attacker rather than having midfield duties

He has phenomonal pace and a great left foot, but his technical abilty needs to be fine tuned though.

He's perfect for BFS, if they can get him for a 2mil loan fee they'll have done really well.

i still think the decision will come down to carroll and whether he wants to leave or not. hes been with them for as much as the preseason as he could since euros(was shit this past saturday against spuds in baltimore but it was hot as the devils taint in the stadium) i dunno i still think the only realistic deal would be back to newcastle for either a loan(doubt it but u never know) or 20+m pounds

Pienaar resigned at the Blue dippers - 4.5m - a very good purchase for them.

So Spurs bought Pienaar who is 30 years old for £3 million and then sold him after one year for 4.5m !

Goos deal.

Everybody seems to HATE Levy, and it is with good reason. Although, you can't deny he is good at what he does.

The thing with Levy is that his hard line approach gets Spurs some good deals, but it also leaves them without players they need because he refuses to budge, also leaves them paying people like Bentley who they can't sell because Levy wants his money back on him.

They had a real chance to kick on when they qualified for the champions league, but Levy was happy to keep things as they were and pocket the extra money.
