Non league talent

Great to see a kid from non league making it with a big league club. It can be luck sometimes many many young lads are good enough in non league especially playing and getting experience in those leagues where they have bollocks to be playing in the NW Counties/Evostick leagues, not one scout ever turns out to watch them, good luck to all the young lads in non league, keep at it!

Derry city. some good players in the Irish league but none good enough to go straight to city, sc doing well now but was shit at first.

Watmore scored a great goal against City EDS the other night. Has great pace and a good football brain. Destined for great things.

Yeh I think too many kids give up at 16 if they are not at Premiership/Championship club. We have Bolasie and Gayle, who have come up from non league football.

We will regret not signing this kid, absolutely tearing it up for Sunderland u21s. Their fans are mystified as to why he isn't getting on their bench.

I wish we'd signed Watmore when I started this thread, what a player he looks. Just raw pace on and off the ball and a fantastic football brain.

Another to add to the list of former non-league players doing well in the Premier League.

Vardy, Smalling and Austin aswell in the last few years alone.
