(Non-obvious) City players you didn't like

Stephen Jordan, complete waste of time that lad.

never liked him ever, the icing on the cake was i think against West Ham I think when he let the winger get pat him then just stopped running. Did'nt even think about trying.

Mike Summerbee

The reasons are personal and a long story but due to this and seeing him in his real light i cant stand him. At least i know where his intolerable son gets it from.

I want to hear this story infact we all do :D. Come on mate!!

Well where do I begin?

Barry Silkman
John Ryan - why did we sign him again? Strengthen our midfield my arse!
Terry Park - Stockport got the better end of that deal
Jim Tolmie- hated him with a passion no idea why, maybe because he reminded me how far we had fallen at that time.
Martin "Buster" Phillips - a Bally favourite and really shite
Jamie Pollock - that own goal need I say more
Danny Mills - money grabbing waste of space
Giorgos Samaras - couldnt score in a brothel
Jo - £18million - really? For what exactly?

David Seaman. One of the worst keepers I have ever seen for City, and that's saying something, don't think we was ever that good for Arsenal or England after about '98. Shame, because he seems like a nice bloke.

A lot of people have completely misunderstood what this thread is supposed to be about? It's quite shocking actually.

You aren't naming players who were shit. You are asked to name popular players who for (whatever reason?) you personally didn't like?
I personally don't like edin dzeko!

I'll wait for the flak on this one.....

Dennis Tueart.

Overrated poser- thought he was big-time as soon as we signed him. I can't understand what people saw in him, I never liked him as a player or as a director.

1976 overhead was his career highlight, and from where I was (admittedly lower tier, 100 yards away) it looked like he'd fluked it.

The only ex-City player autobiography I'll never read.

Tueart - 'Legend'? - My arse.
I've read some shit on here but this is in a class of its own!

We have had hundreds of crap players who I didnt like in my time.

If we are talking non - obvious though; I would go for Trevor Francis, and yes I do know how good he was I just never really took to him
He was exciting to watch when he played for us, but has made a career of slagging us off at every opportunity in his commentating role.

boateng, never warmed to him at all

thatcher

danny mills (had the displeasure of meeting him once)

i cant becuase everyone loved him, i just never got it. I got his talent not him and its not Kinkladze

Elano?

If it is Elano, your not alone! He could take a good free kick, but for me that was it!, he would try the Hollywood pass on numerous occasions in each match, one would come off the others were either under or over hit, but most used to just remember the one that came off.
He fustrated the crap out of me!!!
The heart of a tadpole as well!!!

Distin, nothing to do with how he played but just struck me as an unpleasant character. Opinion of him has dropped even more since he left, playing out of his skin everytime he faces us, going mental when he scored and talking crap about Lescott moving to us for the money(didn't he move to Portsmouth when they were handing out big wages).
