Noooooooooooooooo (Scott Parker for Johnno)

The night the news broke on ssn i had a look on a couple of west ham forums and a poster actually said i have heard MJ might be part of any deal!

Well, it resonates with West Ham's current youth drive. With their finances all over the shop, this is what clubs do to survive. We did it ourselves and it makes sense to swap an older player for a younger that has the same, if not more, potential.

I hope that this is total bollox and more media bullsh1t.

Why oh why would we let a player of Jonno's ability go to another (relegation rival) club in return for some one notoriously injury prone.

As has already been stated on this forum Jonno was excellent last year and made some good players look ordinary, he also scored some decent goals. His injury shouln't have been a massive suprise as he is young player adapting to the physcial side of the premiership. Ok so his attitude his been sh1te, maybe having a drink and throwing his toys out was his way of dealing with the pressures of expectation (new colin bell) and his injury. Everyone makes mistakes and deserves another chance surely.

Imagine this...

We swap the two players - Parker (fragile as a glass hammer) comes in, plays two/three games and gets injured (again), he then spends the rest of the season in the treatment room taking a fat wage. In the summer - we get players of a higher calibre in and he goes elsewhere anyway.

Meanwhile at Upton Park, Jonno regains fitness and rediscovers the form he showed last year, he then develops into the player the experts people feel he can become and goes on to have a good career.

I'd be Fcuking fuming - and we have to pay £4m for this...

Do one.

I'd prefer neither of them send Johnno to West Ham and they can keep Scott Parker too

That's a bit short sighted - who would you get then?
