Very proud of norman over here in the isle of man! Met him loads at various pubs when he was out for trips with his care nurse in his later years! He only had the one but was brilliant company and still did his infamous trip!

There is a clip somewhere of him getting some award from the Queen, where he pretends to trip whilst approaching. Even Queenie smiled at him.

I was lucky enough to see him live in Liverpool once, about 20 odd years ago. He was a very very talented entertainer, naturally funny and could sing, dance play instruments etc,

I still feel privileged to have seen him perform and even at his age he was still falling around doing all the slapstick stuff.
