Please also outline how you believe an atmospheric end can be created out of the new stand since it’s seems that those which truly want it think it will be difficult as things stand.


The only existing season cards in NS tier 2 are for the family stand which will remain in place when the stand is completed.

I heard about the number of tickets that get transferred from City Execs at a fans meeting IIRC. Try looking on the Facebook pages and X in the lead up to the Fulham game. This will be the minority of tickets getting transferred but you might get an idea of scale.

I’ve said there will be season cards in the North Stand and you now appear to agree with me on they specific point, unless I’m missing something.

I’ve answered your questions. Now please explain to me how flexi golds will be so damaging. What research have you done to support your view? I know lots of families they were delighted to get their kids flexi golds btw

Lots of points being made about flexi golds and hyperbole. For balance, I would like to see criticisms by fans groups of season card hoarding. Emory seats left with some season card holders just attending the “big games”.

Make SSL3 all safe standing.
Have an OAP section somewhere else in the ground for those who can’t or won’t stand.

I completely agree that making SSL3 all safe standing and then promoting it as the main vocal section would now be the best option and then there wouldn't need to be any safe standing in the new North Stand. This would also allow City to market the North Stand as the plush new stand and charge a bit of a premium for it, which could be used to help keep prices down in the South Stand L1 and L3.

And there would be some people in SSL3 who weren't happy which your second point largely addresses.

I just don't think there's enough singers for both ends of the ground. And given the long standing tradition at City of the vocal fans going next to the away fans, I think City would have had to push the new North Stand really hard with it all being safe standing and cheaper tickets to get the vast majority of singers to move. With what's been proposed I think the overwhelming majority of singers will stay where they are.

Non of your points have any intellectual foundations and often blur the lines of both the subject and the truth.

- You’re unable to substantiate your claims about 10k tickets being transferred.

- You’re unable to substantiate your claim about a lot of season ticket holders not going to half the games.

- You talk about fan groups on Facebook which half the time are posting made up stories (I’ve seen the made up fantasy 115 court room crap).

- You’re can’t talk about how you would go about creating an atmospheric end under the proposed set up.

- You think attendance would be no different between a season card and a flexi gold but can only back it up with stats you saw on FB.

Also because you’re blurring the lines so much, no one is talking about flexi golds being outright bad, in fact they’re a great option for those that like to pick and choose. The reality is that if City’s owners did what the fans want, we would no longer be able to attract World class players and would probably end up struggling to stay in the Premier League, but at least some here would like that so they could get tickets

Comtrary to your sneering essay, it's you that offers precisely nothing. If City’s execs say at least 10k tickets are transferred for the majority of games I tend to believe them.

I don’t see somebody with a flexi good as being less worthy car holder than somebody with the “full season card”. In fact it might suit many people / families’ circumstances.
I would reduce the initial payment though.

There’s one way to improve the atmosphere. Get more people to sing.

You’ve not provided one shrewd of evidence of how flexi golds are worse than the atmosphere. My own preference would be for peole committing to the vast majority of games to get the full season card.

Who are you to demand a solution to the atmosphere problems from me. Again, the solution is for more fans to raise their forces and get behind the team. If they people at the front of blocks encouraging more singing, all well and good IMHO

I will tell you something about my contribution. I run a Supporters Club Branch and more than doubled the membership over the years. In the ground I sing throughout most of the game. When I can I subsidise tickets to help less well off people to get into games.

What exactly do you do? You’ve had plenty to say. No is the time for you to show some credentials.

Btw I think the biggest hypocrites are those who tell everyone about their socialist agenda and when it comes down to helping others, they tend to do Sweet FA

We are not going to sell 8000 premium seats in the new NS. I would rather they made it affordable for the many, although I doubt they will.

There’s not prefect solution. Season tickets and match day tickets, home and away ;-), have always been open to abuse. But why should City fans have to pay an extra £150 membership fee to purchase a flexi gold season ticket? I asked that question earlier today, but nobody has tried to answer my question yet.
