Efflorescence in brick ( salts coming out of the clay) is not a massive problem as it can easily be brushed off ( not washed as it dissolves and soaks into the brick to reappear again) and once cleared very rarely appears again . It is however bleeding unsightly ,the bricks choosen can easily be changed at this point before laying commences and a harder wire cut/ stock brick is preferable but will not have the same look !Watched SS's video from yesterday, zooms in to the mock-up up at the very end. Bloody hell the efflorescence on that brick, not a good sign if that's the state of it only a couple months in.

Have you found it to rarely appear again once washed off? I've seen it reappear often, but how well it was 'brushed' off, who knows.Efflorescence in brick ( salts coming out of the clay) is not a massive problem as it can easily be brushed off ( not washed as it dissolves and soaks into the brick to reappear again) and once cleared very rarely appears again .
