The beams on the left and right hand side of the Skybar crossmember assembly look temporary (only coated in red oxide paint). They appear to replicate the top uprights already installed on the two towers. It's going to be a challenge mating six location flanges up whilst that massive frame is suspended from the crane!

There is still a long way and plenty weeks to catch.

I'm assuming like most sites in the UK, this one will shut from the second week in December till sometime in January. So that one could be your last one till mid January.

If we keep losing until then it might get shut down permanently!

The buildings will be connected part way up to the towers so that there is a tunnel for people to pass through City Square without needing to walk all the way around.

May be wrong but could see steel works starting at the towers and built across to the structure of the buildings. The exterior will match the design of the buildings so it all blends together.

That tunnel is going to get pretty congested on match days, it was bad enough before the North stand construction.

Yea, so not really a tunnel.

The two links to the stand from the hotel and commercial block are already at “pinch points” so having a “roof” is surely irrelevant because the width of the passage is already defined if I’m not missing something ??

I'm talking about the perimeter around the outside of the North stand, it was chokka behind the stage with fans trying to walk through in opposite directions before and after the game and when they build the tunnel it's going to be a nightmare.

That perimeter pathway isn't changing. The hotel and office are beyond the outer edge of it. The rooms that link the hotel are above the circle path.

If there is any reduction in the space there, it is the stand itself. But in fairness, there isn't really any way to extend the north stand without taking up the additional space.
