We had an update on Sunday, I doubt if much real progress has been made

To be fair the Sunday update revealed significant progress - the stand and the hotel are progressing quickly and the admin/museum/shop will no doubt move quickly now that they are poring concrete to create the floors.

Great video as always. Shame it had to end where it did after the switch to the mini drone as it looked liked a new piece of terracing was about to be lifted into place and the "platform" that was lifted on to the roof of the hotel was being taken down again.

No, end of next year is planned. Probably beginning of '26, but that's mostly a guess.

Still a possibility they open the seating in August. It might be with no f&b which would be a difficulty. When money men get involved, logic goes out the window.

Seating and bogs, presumably?

Not the easiest to close off properly for them to continue working on those areas while folk use the seating, given where the escape routes are. Plus additional traffic at ground level while all of the site is still hoarded off for. Be interesting if they try it.

No, they're there at around 4:30 on the video. It's the west side of the hotel that will overlook the covered City Square.
