You and me both mate. My wife takes pictures with so much rubbish all around the actual subject matter that it has enabled me to become a cropping maestro. It's a bit naughty of me editing other peoples pictures, but I like a good crop. :-)

That remaining section of roof will be gone by the end of the weekend. I reckon this is slightly ahead of schedule or on schedule.Sorry if im being ignorant but why is it so slow taking down the other old supports? I imagine the new roof is now held up correctly and with time being a factor for the new pitch to be sorted, it doesnt seem to be the pace that was being suggested was required to sort this part out?
& then there was one, rest easy 93:20 Aguero roof, you served us well.
Video here.
I think it's because they have needed access to the old roof. Most of the purlins are installed and I'd expect we will see more progress once the final piece of the old roof comes down, probably early next week. There's a full 2 months before the season starts. I'm not worried in the slightest.Progress on the new roof looks pretty slow. You'd expect they'd be wanting to have that waterproofed and covered before the new season starts.
Wondered if anyone can answer a hotel related question. Had an argument with my son about the concourse / walkway around the hotel. He is pissed that he has to walk around the current site to get to our East Stand turnstiles and thinks that will still be the case after completion. I told him that, at the very least, the contractors temporary building at the edge, will come down and also any barrier that shields the hotel will be closer.
He thinks there will be parking there for the hotel but I can't find any mock ups or plans.

You’ll be able to walk between the new stand and the hotel and shop/museum/office block so won’t need the circumventing route that we’re all doing currently. I’d expect the barriers might still be there (or at least some restrictions) when the stand opens though and not go until the two claws are finished later in the year.Wondered if anyone can answer a hotel related question.
