Have you ever been to the City Ground in Nottingham? That weird Bridgford stand always goes against the grain for me, as does the weird brick dugout at the Swamp.

Three screens is going to my OCD no good at all. I’ve convinced myself the club are doing an Ardwick type development this summer in the SE corner and then we will get a screen next summer ! And breathe.

Agree on the first bit! The Etihad being lop sided until the North stand has been done got my twitching mate, hopefully its duff info and its 4 screens.

Don't think thatbis now possible. If there was any adjusting and levelling, would have been done before the purlins were in.

Still think there us a bit of an optical effect throwing people off from an odd angle and lens curve.

They will need to install packers to ensure that the roof walk is level if they can't adjust the beams.

I’d like to know what the timescale is with that. They will sell out instantly I’d imagine as there is a lot of demand for more standing areas

Definitely not wonky The curve of the roof is made up of straight purlins, as they get to the middle of the curve then it’s is bound to look a bit odd especially viewed through a wide angle and the safety netting not being straight

In reality they’ll install 3000 safe standing seats and then the rest will be normal seats.

They’ll then be like ‘oh shit, we’ve already gone to the trouble of installing all the new seats and we forgot to ask who was interested in a bigger safe standing section first”.

Like, imagine how poorly prepared it would look if they immediately ripped out a couple of thousand new seats for a bigger safe standing section.

Yea that was the point I tried to make, the netting throws it. Looks fine from the pitch photos.

However I do get the theory that people are arguing, od there are 11 bays, the central in theory should be fully level.

After the fan protests about ticket prices, and the intervention by the Boss, Sheikh Mansour, and what Khaldoon said during his end of season video, which came true, there's a good chance, and a new belief, that City will increase the size of the safe standing section on the new North stand, 2nd tier, if the initial 3000 safe standing tickets do sell out, which they will.
