I remember that day well , was there before the fences were there and you could see inside and it was all empty with a few city shirts just left on the floor .Demolition of the shop started 2 years ago to the day.
I miss that part of match day, I loved the old set up, So did the many others I’ve taken to games as first timers, they where always impressed & always bought food & drink, merch/programmes etc. Now it’s all a bit fragmented & there isn’t that same buzz about the place on approach, so we normally arrive late after a few in town or Mary d’s. Really looking forward to it all being ready, we’re definitely relocating to NS1 (as it’s now called) and will probably go back to arriving early & having some food and a few scoops outsideDemolition of the shop started 2 years ago to the day.
I'll be there, early tomorrow jrb meeting up with CP Overview tonight cheers
It should be an uplifting conversation.I’ll take it you’ll be droning on !
I quite like where Summerbee’s is now as it gives a good view of the stadium especially when the sun is shining. However I can’t wait until we don’t have to traipse the long journey around the construction site. The North Stand is really going to make the eastern side of the stadium look very uninteresting, I am sure there will be plans to develop something there.I miss that part of match day, I loved the old set up, So did the many others I’ve taken to games as first timers, they where always impressed & always bought food & drink, merch/programmes etc. Now it’s all a bit fragmented & there isn’t that same buzz about the place on approach, so we normally arrive late after a few in town or Mary d’s. Done on purpose to match the roofThe unrolled grass lines look a bit wonky?
Next time you go, could you get over the centre spot and put some lines on to check for pitch levels and that the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the 2 right angled triangles.Done on purpose to match the roof
Thankyou Percy ThrowerPitch should be fully laid by now.
Twenty nine and a bit days for it to bed in.
Cutting things fine it will only have shallow roots by then.
I really do like them although the full effect will only be apparent when they've completed the build. Not sure if I like those sails or not. Don't really do/add much.
