North Stand Construction Discussion

They obviously aren’t paying for the view from the seats then.

They’ll be half cut by the time the match kicks off. Not sure the view will be all that bad but it will probably feel like your sat under the scoreboard. Hardly cutting edge hospitality. On a similar theme I’m still hopeful we get a screen on the other side in the future.

I can’t believe the club haven’t considered moving the hoardings back about 5 rows onto the new terrace.
Could use lower tier entrances
Must be at least 1000 seats.
Average £40 per game (£40k total) as rough estimate.that’s without food and merch

Yesterday, when the drone was scanning across the South stand between the screens, it appeared to me that the seating is in some areas more cramped than it is in others.

If handover of the stand is March 2026, do we think the club won't bother with pro rata season tickets for the balance of the 2025/26 season? Just leave it on open sale to matchday members, etc.?

It's the opposite. I think this is because the rail seats are an assembly of places (4?) so effectively a straight unit, as the stand is contoured they have to leave a gap occasionally Unlike the non-rail ones which are fitted as single units Just my theory

Lol!

Imagine being sat underneath that massive screen, in the shade, with thick steel legs obstructing your view as well.

Those tickets will have to be some of the cheapest in the ground.

Obstructing the view of what exactly? Certainly not the pitch. That's the SE corner BTW so they'll get a low afternoon/evening sun in their eyes, being in the shade could be an advantage.
