Good luck to those on the roof walk, personally I tend to cross the road on a drop pavement these days :-(

We have a flock of parakeets where i live in south manchester , nice to see but noisy little fuckers
Sure someone said that the club had said no fourth screen at the moment and logically it would have followed on from the third one
This is already open and advertised on the OS the group of seats allocated for it and the actual bar is behind those. If you remember they filled in the area on the left of the photo to extend that deck Anyhow all will be revealed in timeManager’s Corner.
I get the effect City and Populous are trying to create with the brickwork looking like old Manchester mills and warehouses, but it doesn’t look good, especially when it’s a brand new 4 star Hotel, and it doesn’t tie in with the rest of the North stand and the Etihad exterior.
Compare it to the House of Social brickwork at First Street, which also has the effect of looking like an old Manchester mill and warehouse.

Is anyone going to stick their heads above the “parapet wall”and say that after all the talk , the brickwork ( for laid in situ not factory assembled) actually is quite good !Pictures from my mobile phone.
The vast majority of the pictures are on my camera, which I will post tomorrow morning.

May be wrong but I don’t remember the deck on the south east corner being extended ??A while ago CP overview showed that the deck behind the new screen had been extended just like the one in manager's corner so it could be a new screen.
Would they need planning permission for whatever they are up to?
At the moment it appears that the scaffold will go the full width of the opening which is different to the SE corner . Maybe they are enclosing the whole space , but I doubt it’s for a new screen , but yes we’ll have to wait and see ! :-)OK.
Let’s see what all that scaffolding is for.
I already have.Is anyone going to stick their heads above the “parapet wall”and say that after all the talk , the brickwork ( for laid in situ not factory assembled) actually is quite good !
