Got stopped twice today.

The first person was from Sisk, the 2 nd person was a security guard.

After explaining who I was, what I was doing, having a pleasant chat with both of them, showing them the North stand construction threads on Blue Moon and on SSC-MCR on my mobile phone, it was all sorted. At the end of the day the 2 people were just doing their jobs.

As usual, Joe Mercer Way, left to right, around the North stand construction site.

There are also a few pictures on my camera phone, so once I've posted all the camera pictures, I will update the posts with the additional pictures from my camera phone.

I couldn't do anything about the solar flares from the Sun.

Thanks Jrb , wonderful pictures that should finally allay the fears about the quality of the brickwork ( ( minor efflorescence excepted )!!

The exterior really has come on over the last few weeks.

The towers could have giant banners of a player on them.

I'm not a fan of the bricks, mortor and brickwork in the photos. I can only guess it was inspired by the Maine Road turnstyles just before demolition. It may look better in context once construction is complete. Overall the development is imposing and impressive.
