Take it, the screen is going in front of this.
Yes it will be, sure it will be ready for the west ham game. Might be wrong with the dates
Least I won't be straining my eyes looking at the other screens! ha
So it is a screen after all?
Looks like the framing to a room to me , possibly the rumoured control room ?So it is a screen after all?
Yeah that's what I've been told. 4 screens around the inside of the stadium
When were you told this?
Looks like they’re building a new box to me - as had been mentioned here by one user.
The current control room is justto theOne of the stewards was explaining it.
If its for a new box then not sure what they are trying to do, looks marked out like a tv screen

The current control room is just to the right as viewed in the end hospitality box in the east stand . From distant memory it’s a large box and it would make sense to turn it back into its original use !
I can't see any mountings for a big screen there myself? One of the stewards was explaining it.

The Stadium Control Room (SCR) at the Etihad Stadium is strategically located in the northeast corner of the stadium, a central hub for operations, security, and matchday management, though specific internal access isn't public for security, it's key for the entire stadium's functioning, with a sensory room also in that NE corner for fans. The current control room is just to the right as viewed in the end hospitality box in the east stand . Key Details:
So, while you won't find it on a seating map, it's a vital, hidden nerve center within the stadium's physical build, especially around the North-East section.
- Location: Northeast corner (NE corner) of the stadium structure.
- Function: Manages all aspects of the stadium's operation, from security and crowd control to broadcasting and emergency response.
- Accessibility: Not a public area, but crucial for stewards, police, and medical teams during events.
I stand corrected , does anyone know the use of the box next to the area in question in the east stand ?? If we could see what the SCR looks like at the moment, maybe give us a better idea of whether the screen can still be put in place. Maybe it's not the control room, because Dawnvale where doing work before in that areaThey’re building a structure going all the way to the back of the platform. Definitely some sort of box going in which makes a screen unlikely.
Which video? Are you saying they are working in the SW corner? If we could see what the SCR looks like at the moment, maybe give us a better idea of whether the screen can still be put in place. Maybe it's not the control room, because Dawnvale where doing work before in that area
If you watch the video, this is the company doing the work there at the moment
